First you should figure out what you want to do. What kind of home business are you going to be involved in? Is it affiliate marketing which is when you sell other people's products. Are you going to sell your own product which probably is not such a good idea when starting out? Will you be drop shipping physical products? Drop shipping is when you do not store the products. The order comes to you and you inform the warehouse where the product IS located; the product is shipped directly to your customer without you nave having to see or touch the product.
If you go the affiliate route, you may want to be an affiliate for Amazon. Amazon sell thousands of great products and has an excellent reputation. An excellent reputation is very important, especially to customers shopping online. They want to know the company stands behind the products they sell. With Amazon, the commissions are usually small, but that should not concern you. When stating out, you need to learn the business so why not work with a company like Amazon which has tons of creditably?Do your own research. There are many affiliate creditable affiliate programs for you to chose from and you need to feel comfortable with the company and the products they sell. There is no sense promoting a product which you do not believe in.
When it comes to how long you should give your home business to work and by work I mean profit, I say as long as it takes to work. But then, I love being in my own home business because I am most creative at home plus I enjoy being at home. On the other hand, after working your home business for a time, you may determine it's not for you and you might rather be involved in a brick and mortar business or a job. The bottom-line is, a home business is not for everyone. We have one life and I say follow your passion. If you decide that a home business is for you, I say keep on keeping on until you get it right. Get good training and in time the business will work for you. We all are different so it would not be fair to you to tell you how long it's going to take to get into the profit you desire.?
Trying proven paths to making money at home might yield a talent you did not know you have. Trying any path for at least six months will make sure you pedal right when you bike entrepreneurship for real.
