PM: Armenia aims to stage “most transparent and fairest elections” in its history

ArmeniaNow  ---  Armenia will aspire to hold its cleanest vote ever when it elects its parliament next year, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan on Tuesday while on a visit to Brussels.
Speaking at the session of the Political Assembly of the European People’s Party in Brussels, Sargsyan, a senior member of Armenia’s ruling Republican Party, said: “Our goal is to hold the most transparent and fairest elections in the 20-year history of independent Armenia.”

According to his press office, in this respect the head of the Armenian government stressed the importance of the new Electoral Code and the law “On Public Services” which, he said, will make the activities of government employees more transparent.
